About the Course

The United Nations General Assembly designated January 27—the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau—as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

On this annual day of commemoration, the UN urges every member state to honor the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and millions of other victims of Nazism and to develop educational programs to help prevent future genocides.


Join us is commemorating this day by learning about Leon Schagrin and Primo Levi, two Auschwitz survivors, as well as how this UN created day of remembrance has been uased and abused over the decades.

We are a Georgia based non-profit consisting of Holocaust  & Human Rights educators specializing in bringing the importance of bearing witness by actively remembering to teachers and students in under-served communities (rural and inner-cities). To actively remember includes returning the humanity lost to the victims, advocating for democratic values and procedures, and promoting tolerance.
